About Lars Gidhagen

Consultant in Air Quality

PERSONAL

Introduction

My basic education is as an oceanographer, but in 1990 I changed my focus to the atmosphere and its levels of air pollution, especially in urban and industrial environments. I have since worked with the air environment, first as an international consultant – mainly in South America – and from the turn of the millennium as a researcher. Since 2018, I have worked with air quality projects for clients in Sweden, Iceland and Chile via Gidhagen consulting AB. Through the air quality management system AIRVIRO and collaboration with APERTUM AB IT, I have the opportunity to quickly set up databases, analysis and modeling tools of outdoor air quality for any location on Earth. With the help of modeling, both current and future air pollution levels can be evaluated.
