About Ylva Söderberg Gidhagen
Doctor in Clinical Psychology
Introduction
My basic education is as a social worker, with later further training in psychotherapy and supervision.
I have worked in municipal, regional and private organizations, with five years of management experience. In 2018, I received my doctorate in clinical psychology with a thesis on psychological treatment for addiction. I lived for a few years in Colombia and studied social work, later also in Chile where I studied system theory. My professional orientation is based on knowledge in developmental psychology and a relational perspective where the emphasis is on exploring and working with curiosity and humility with the individual’s relationships to achieve positive change.

What I Do
My work focuses on relationships — how they affect us, challenge us, and help us grow. Through supervision and guidance, I aim to create spaces for reflection and understanding, where people can connect more deeply with themselves and with others.
